Lantern: Expanding Critical Thinking and Connection
Class CEFR Level*: Proficient & Advanced (C1 & C2)
At the pinnacle of our program is the Lantern class, where learning truly shines. Here, learners are empowered to think critically, make connections across subjects, and support their peers. Just as a lighthouse’s beam guides ships through treacherous waters, our approach helps students see the bigger picture—how different concepts relate, how to problem-solve, and how to be confident, independent learners.

Tower: Strengthening Content Knowledge
Class CEFR Level*: Developing & Proficient (B1 & B2)
Reaching new heights is the Tower of the lighthouse, this stage is where students begin to solidify and expand their comprehension. They can perform tasks and apply skills learned in previous stages and start to independently explore personal areas of interest. However, they may need guidance to connect these pieces and develop a cohesive understanding. We help learners strengthen these connections as they expand their ability to recognize the complexity of language on their terms.

Home: Building Awareness of Key Tools and Content Blocks
Class CEFR Level*: Basic & Developing (A1 & A2)
As learners progress, they enter the Home stage, where they begin to explore knowledge on a deeper, more personal level. Through focused practice, they gain essential tools and skills that serve as stepping stones to more advanced learning. At this stage, we focus on individualized attention to help learners master the basics and start building confidence in their abilities.

Foundation: Setting the Stage for Success
Class CEFR Level*: Foundational (Pre-A1)
At the base of our learning structure is a strong Foundation. Here, we provide essential guidance and support, helping learners develop the foundational language and skills needed for their academic journey. Whether learners are struggling to focus or building early communication skills, this stage lays the groundwork for future achievement.
