Learners use tutoring sheets to reflect on their struggles and identify what they want to improve.
Learners explain their struggles and develop personal solutions.
Learners apply their found solutions thus building confidence in their abilities and problem solving skills!
The goal of all our tutoring systems is to help learners build independence and personal motivation in their own learning process. Our collaborative tutoring sessions in particular are focused on improving learner collaboration, leadership, reflection and problem solving skills.
Learners are grouped by age and ability levels for maturity and communication purposes. In the group, a learner, called a Team Leader, will present their problem, what they know about it, & the solutions they have tried. Other group members will use questions to help the team leader find solutions. Should additional help be needed teachers will be on hand to support the student further
Collaborative tutoring follows a schedule & meets twice a week with an optional Sunday session.

The goal of all our tutoring systems is to help learners build independence and personal motivation in their own learning process. Our personal tutoring is designed to help students address a larger and specific personal goal by themselves or with a friend.
Learners start by setting an overall goal with a teacher. This guides sessions, and provides context for learners and teachers within each session. Before each session learners are encouraged to message their teacher with a session goal. If one is not set within 72 hrs. prior to the lesson the teacher will create a lesson based upon the learner’s overall goals and recent material covered
Personal tutoring session timing and frequency is flexible to learner needs & expectations.
